Program description

1. Enhance, promote and maintain an employment relationship that fulfills the City's responsibility to its customers, taxpayers and employees.
2. Provide all City departments with professional, cost-effective support services in all aspects of human resource management.
3. Assist the City Manager in all labor negotiations; administer employee contracts.
4. Maintain all permanent personnel records and review all personnel action contracts.
5. Coordinate meetings of the Safety and Employee Relations committees; City-wide training; and compensation programs.
6. Administer the City's insurance programs in concert with the City's Agent(s) of Record, when applicable.
7. Coordinate the duties and responsibilites of the Arts Commission.
